Past the Hedge is a personal travel-record tool. It's invite-only for now — accounts aren't self-service yet. These terms cover using it while that's true.

Agreement
These terms constitute an agreement between you and Past the Hedge and govern your use and access to the website at www.pastthehedge.com, its subdomains, and the services provided therein (collectively, the "Services"). By clicking your consent ("Submit", "Login", "Sign-up") or by using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to be bound by these terms.
Your account and content
You're responsible for keeping your password (and, if enabled, your two-factor device or backup codes) to yourself. The travel details and other data you enter or forward ("Your Data") stays yours — Past the Hedge stores and displays them back to you, and doesn't sell or otherwise share them beyond what the Privacy Policy describes. By submitting, entering, or forwarding Your Data, you hereby grant Past the Hedge a nonexclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, fully paid, and sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, publicly perform and display Your Data solely as necessary for us to provide the Services to youor to develop or improve Past the Hedge products and services.
Acceptable use
Use your forwarding address for your own bookings. Each account has a daily budget for the AI parsing it uses — please don't try to exhaust it or automate traffic at the service. Don't try to access another account's data.
Ownership
We retain all intellectual property rights in and to the Services and all modifications or enhancements thereto, including those suggested by you. The granting of access to any Service should not be construed as granting or conferring any rights by license in the Services.
No warranty
We make no guarantee that email parsing will always get a booking right, that flight-status checks will always catch a change, or that the Services will always be available. If something looks wrong on a trip you're relying on, check the original confirmation. THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS-IS", WITHOUT WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, MERCHANTABILITY OR TITLE, AND ALL SUCH WARRANTIES ARE HEREBY SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMED.
Limitation of liability
Past the Hedge is not liable for losses arising from missed, delayed, or incorrect information it shows you, or from downtime. It's a personal project, not a travel agency or booking service — it never books, changes, or cancels anything on your behalf. PAST THE HEDGE WILL NOT BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING ANY LOSS OF DATA OR DATA USE, WHETHER ARISING UNDER CONTRACT OR TORT AND REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY. THESE EXCLUSIONS APPLY EVEN IF ANY REMEDY FAILS OF ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE. IN NO EVENT WILL OUR CUMULATIVE LIABILITY EXCEED $50.00.
Suspension and termination
You can ask for your account to be deleted at any time (see the Privacy Policy for how). We may suspend or close an account that abuses the service or another account's data, or if the service is discontinued altogether — invited users would be notified first, where practical.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change meaningfully, this page changes with them. Last updated 20 August 2026.
