How Past the Hedge works

From the confirmations you choose to send to a trip that stays with you.

The full story of forwarding →
  1. Step 1. Forward only what you choose

Use the private forwarding address assigned to your account. Send an old confirmation to rebuild your history, or forward a new one as soon as you book.

Past the Hedge cannot see the rest of your inbox.

  2. Step 2. Email text and PDF attachments become booking records

Dates and times, routes or addresses, providers and confirmation references become booking details you can use.

Not every confirmation contains every field.

  3. Step 3. Related bookings become a trip

An outbound flight, hotel, rail journey and return flight can sit together in one chronological trip. The itinerary keeps individual booking details in context.

    Follow a fictional trip →
  4. Step 4. Review what could not be verified

Anything the service cannot verify confidently is marked for review. You can add, edit or delete bookings yourself.

The original confirmation remains the useful source for correction.

  5. Step 5. An itinerary before the trip. A travel record after it.

And one place to turn while you’re away.

    Before you go

See your reservations together, review uncertain details and prepare for the journey ahead.

    While you’re away

Find departure times, hotel addresses and confirmation references in one chronological itinerary as you move from booking to booking.

    When you return

The same trip stays in your archive, maps and statistics. You can add what mattered too: what you liked, where you’d stay again, what you’d skip, and what to remember next time.

The more you travel,
the more it becomes yours.

One trip on a map is a line. Two hundred is a portrait…

One trip, in time order

Flights, stays, rail, ferries, cars, activities and other bookings share one chronological view, with the details from each confirmation where they belong.

Trips do not expire

Completed trips remain editable and searchable beside what is coming next. Dates, routes, properties, providers, prices and points stay with the record when they were present in the booking. Your own reflections can stay with a finished trip too, so the record keeps what the journey meant as well as what you booked.

Trust & security

Things we cheerfully refuse to do

Forwarding is a deliberate boundary: Past the Hedge receives only the booking messages you choose to send.

  1. No.

Book travel or pay for reservations on your behalf.

  2. No.

Read your mailbox. We have no access and never ask for one, only what arrives at your forwarding address.

  3. No.

Sell your travel history. Not to airlines, not to data brokers, not to anyone. It stays yours: export the lot whenever you like, and if you leave, it leaves with you.

Booking content is used to build your itinerary, not for advertising or AI model training. See how forwarded emails are processed. Read Trust & Security.
