What happens after you forward a travel confirmation?
Past the Hedge works from the booking messages you choose to send to your private forwarding address. It reads the details those messages contain, turns usable details into editable booking records, and brings related records together as a trip.

The confirmation is the raw material
Email text and attached PDFs can contain the useful details. The exact record depends on what the sender included, and forwarding a message does not guarantee that every field can be read.

A record may include dates, times, route or address, provider, reservation reference, travellers, price or points, and booking-specific details. No confirmation is expected to contain every field.
Related records become one trip
A flight, stay, rail journey and return can share one chronological itinerary. Each booking keeps its own details while gaining the context of the journey around it.

Uncertainty stays visible
Past the Hedge does not quietly turn an uncertain detail into a fact. Details that cannot be verified confidently are marked for review, so you know where to look.
- Recognized
- Kept in the booking record.
- Needs review
- Flagged for you to check against the confirmation.
- Missing
- Left absent rather than filled from a guess.
You can correct a field, add a booking that could not be read, move a booking if it belongs elsewhere, or delete a record. Your own confirmation remains the reference when something needs checking.
The forwarding address is a boundary
Past the Hedge receives the booking messages you deliberately send. It does not connect to the mailbox they came from.
- It receives
- Forwarded email text and supported PDF attachments.
- It does not receive
- The rest of your inbox, unrelated messages, or a live mailbox connection.
- It does not do
- Book, change, cancel, or pay for travel; or guarantee every parsed detail is correct.
- You remain in control
- Edit, add, delete, and export your records.
See the assembled trip
The public sample uses invented flights, stays and rail bookings to show the same chronological trip treatment, with no real traveller data.
